Check out my short film!

A short film I made based on a story from Panio Gianopoulos's debut story collection "How to Get Into Our House and Where We Keep the Money".

ONE of my favorite stories

in the book, How to Get Into Our House and Where We Keep the Money is about a widowed father and his brilliant, alternately adorable and maddening six-year-old daughter, Stella. “I'll Be Your Fever” is about love, loss, grief, and the torment a parent can feel for the person they love the most. (Parents, you get me, right?)

In my short film based on the story, I aimed to capture the haunting beauty of their relationship, that intense push-and-pull of their connection. Stella, that little heroine in the making, ended up being a muse to both of us.
